Lost Creek Tukwila
ILR # pending
female b. 05-26-2025
Takoda Peak x Hi Trl Fiona
Tukwila is a energetic, athletic, and smart young llama. Despite her high energy level (inherited from both parents), she's a very willing and cooperative partner.
We originally projected that Tukwila would likely replace her mother in our breeding program. However, doing the math, we're not going to be breeding much longer, so retaining Tukwila long-term doesn't make sense for us or for her.
Tukwila is a good prospect for packing or for breeding Classic llamas with the caveat that she is not going to appeal to those who desire very tall llamas.
We will make Tukwila available as a pack and/or breeding prospect when she's fully mature, although we would consider allowing her to leave earlier to the right situation with a qualified buyer.
Tukwila is the Chinook word for the local wild hazelnut.
